The UTAS-USA UT9M-US6 is made of a machined lightweight aluminum-alloy upper and lower receivers in a variety of colors and designs (Black, FDE, OD Green, Tungsten, Burnt Bronze, Prison Pink, Green Camo, Rustic, US Flag), with an enhanced lightened bolt design and closed-bolt straight-blowback operational system. This weapon includes an AR-15 type charging handle, manual safety, magazine release catch, takedown pins, and pivot pins to as closely resemble the manual arms and reliability of the AR-15 platform.
